So let me come back to you, the stones
in my pockets, the vast width of flowering life
shining in my eyes, the coughing, shambling
animals arriving in my gait.
Let me come with the human being
rising out of my limbs, ascending
to the prayerful spaces. Let me come
and welcoming be welcomed in my turn.
